Analogue sketching totally rules early design ideation

This post argues that pen and paper still matters to software designers.

To paraphrase Sketchboards work because they
"focus the designer’s time and attention on the big problems that need solving before tackling the details."
They enable us to quickly and cheaply discover the domain space and explore different ways of addressing a need and proposing solutions and they invite the involvement of others in a process that is otherwise largely hidden somewhere within our frontal lobes.
